Matthew Lutton directs The Duel at PICA from 26 June to 11 July. The Duel is a unique theatrical response to a single chapter from Fyodor Dostoevsky's 1880 novel, The Brothers Karamazov. Starring Luke Mullins (from War of the Roses) who wakes with an overwhelming sense of guilt and insight. Recalling the words of his dying brother, a sudden leap of understanding transforms his life forever and draws to him a mysterious stranger harbouring a dark secret. Also stars Brian Lipson, Renee McIntosh and David Lee Smyth.
