The Clothespeg Project | Submissions close 24th July

The Clothespeg Project was launched in Perth in 2007. The concept is based around these simple instructions... submit any style of work, about any theme you like, with whatever content you want - there is no limitation other than size. Previous volumes have included work from graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, tattoo artists, textile artists, painters, street artists and sculptors. The open submission format welcomes submissions from anyone. Currently in its third volume the project will be touring to Sydney and Perth with a call for works currently open.

As part of The Clothespeg Project an award is offered (sponsored by the host galleries) for one artist who is declared the 'best in show' to receive a free solo exhibition in the space. Past winners have included local designers Sean Morris and Kate Anna Williams.

Oooh this sounds exciting! I wonder if there is a limit on submissions? I didn't get to submit last time cause I had to go down to my Grandmothers right on submission week.
Thanks for letting me know!

I think there's a limit of 5 per person? As in, 5 pieces (with the required number of prints for each piece)...
